
Tulane Baseball to Play in Back-to-Back Midweek Contests

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane University baseball team is heading to Baton Rouge to take on No. 13 LSU this Tuesday and will return home to host Nicholls State on Wednesday.

The Green Wave has enjoyed a solid start to the season and holds a 10-6 record but has suffered four straight losses including being swept by Evansville last weekend. The Wave is currently tied for third in the AAC.

Grad-transfer Carter Robinson is expected versus the Tigers. The right-hander has a 2.35 ERA over 15.1 innings including three starts.Â
Â
Redshirt sophomore Ethan Groff has been a standout so far for Tulane. The outfielder is hitting .411 with nine doubles, three home runs, and 15 RBIs. Groff won back-to-back AAC player of the week awards to start the season.

First pitch of the LSU game is at 6:30 p.m. inside Alex Box Stadium.Â
