Bowling Heads to Baton Rouge for Southern Queens Tournament

BATON ROUGE – Tulane Bowling is ready for its second competition of the fall season, the Southern Queens Tournament held by Southen University in Baton Rouge at All Star Lanes. They are entering the weekend following their season opener at Destination Orlando, where they played Oct. 17-20.Â
Tulane will compete in a more local tournament this weekend and take on nine other teams. Southern Queens will begin on Friday, Oct. 25 at 9:55 a.m. with five baker matches. Tulane's first matchup will be against Morgan State University, followed by Southern University, the University of Alabama Birmingham, and Florida A&M University. They will wrap the day up against Sam Houston State.Â
On Saturday, Tulane will start at 9:30 a.m. and play in traditional matches against Texas Southern, Alabama State, Grambling State, and Jackson State.Â
On Sunday, Oct. 27 the Green Wave will wrap up the tournament with three 4-of-7 baker matches beginning at 8:20 a.m. Awards will follow the conclusion of competition around 1:30 p.m.Â
