
Volleyball Honors Seniors at Final Home Match

NEW ORLEANS โ Tulane Volleyball hosted its last home match today against Wichita State. Following the match, the program sent off its seniors Ceren Aki, Agata Beksha, and Sami Jacobs.ย
Tulane played Wichita for the first time this season, with the Shockers coming out on top and winning the sets 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.ย
Jacobs and Avery Burks both delivered ten kills against Wichita, while Jacobs had a staggering 43 serve receptions. Jacobs also landed two service aces; she is now tied for most total aces in the conference at 38. Jacobs also led in digs with 10.ย
Burks put up a solo block as well as a block assist in addition to 13 receptions and eight digs.ย
Beksha achieved 206 career kills after adding eight to her total today. She also landed four blocks, one of them solo.ย Sabrina Skyers hit .300 and had four kills, placing her third on the conference rankings in average hitting percentage (.338 kills per set).ย She also notched a solo block.ย
Jordan White had four kills and four block assists to put her at 106 total career block assists. Zoe Rachow logged 21 assists and is now at 964 career assists.ย
NEXT UP
Volleyball will finish its regular season on the road in Florida. They will take on USF on Nov. 15 before FAU on Nov. 17.ย
