
Bulldogs Come to NOLA for Wave’s Third Straight Weekend Series

TULANE GAME NOTES
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Baseball will square off with the Yale Bulldogs this weekend on Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
Tulane enters the weekend at 4-4 overall, while Yale is 0-3.
First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday's contest will begin at 2 p.m. and Sunday's is set to start at 1.
Saturday's game will be Read Across America Day where fans will receive a free youth ticket along with a purchase of adult ticket. The first 250 kids will also receive a free youth T-shirt and there will be free books at the marketing table on the concourse behind home plate.
Sunday's tilt will, not only be Riptide's Kids Club Day, but also the program's Bark in the Park promotion, presented by Bryan Subaru. On hand will be free collapsible dog bowls and all fans who bring dogs will be seated in the right field bleachers and plaza ONLY.
Kids Club members will receive free game admission, there will be collectible baseball card giveaway and there will be a postgame autograph session on the concourse with Carter Benbrook, Brock Slaton, Mason Onate, Tayler Montiel and Blaise Wilcenski.
All three games will be streamed on ESPN+ with Jack Benjamin and Ron Swoboda on the call. The lineup for the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield radio call will rotate throughout the weekend. Ken Berthelot will have Friday's game, while Todd Graffagnini will broadcast Saturday, followed by Voice of the Green Wave Corey Gloor on Sunday. The games will air on 88.3 FM WRBH, along with the Tulane Athletics and Varsity Network apps.
Airtime for all the games is 15 minutes before first pitch.
The Bulldogs traveled to North Florida last weekend and got swept (6-13, 1-6, 1-3). Davis Hanson came out the series with a .308 batting average with nine total bases and a .692 slugging percentage.
The Green Wave snapped a three-game skid with a 6-3 win over UNO on Tuesday in the first round of the annual Pelican Cup. Jackson Linn blasted two homers in the game and Tulane's pitching staff registered its third double-digit strikeout performance (10) of the season.
Friday's pitching matchup will pit Yale RHP Daniel Cohen (0-0, 11.25 ERA) against Tulane LHP Carter Benbrook (1-0, 10.13 ERA). Saturday's starters will be Yale RHP Colton Shaw (0-1, 1.80 ERA) and Tulane RHP Chandler Welch (1-0, 3.72 ERA). On Sunday, the Olive and Blue will send RHP Will Clements (0-0, 10.50 ERA) to the hill against a Bulldog pitcher that has yet to be determined.
