Green Wave Shoots Past Centenary College in Exhibition Matchup

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane men's basketball defeated Centenary College 95-66 in its lone exhibition game on Tuesday night inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse. The Green Wave took control of the contest with 10 unanswered points after halftime, posting 56 points in the second half.
Five players finished the night with double figures for the Wave, led by Asher Woods, who tallied 19 points with eight rebounds and five assists. Rowan Brumbaugh followed with 17 points and five assists, while KJ Greene added 16 points. Josiah Moore and Percy Daniels rounded out the leaders for Tulane posting 11 and 10 points, respectively.
As a team the Green Wave connected at a 52.5 percent clip from the field, including a scorching 67.9 percent shooting in the second half. Woods and Brumbaugh each hit three three-pointers as Tulane finished 10-of-21 (47.6 percent) from beyond the arc.
The Wave dominated the Gentlemen in multiple statistical categories, including a 42-10 advantage in the paint, a 48-31 edge in bench points, and a 13-0 margin in fast break points. Tulane also outrebounded Centenary 39-28 and forced 16 turnovers.
Up next, the Green Wave open the regular season with its home opener on Monday, November 3, against Samford. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., with live coverage on ESPN+.
