He placed second on the team with four saves while totaling 15 strikeouts in 27.1 innings thrown and a 0-2 record.
The Sunday starter for Tulane is to be determined at this point depending on the results and bullpen usage in the two earlier games of the series.

Notables from the Southern Miss and Northwestern State Midweek Games
The 8-4 win over Northwestern State (4/2) stopped the five-game losing streak for the program. The five-game losing skid had been the team's longest since the start of the 2023 campaign (6). The Green Wave improved the all-time record to 307-164 all-time against current schools in the Southland Conference. Michael Lombardi's start on the mound was his first since last season when he went the first 4.1 innings against Southern Miss (3/26/24). He has now recorded 33 strikeouts this season in only 16 innings worked with a conference leading seven saves. This was the first game that the two-way player hasn't batted or played in the field this year.
