TAMPA, Fla. – On a damp and windy evening at the Corral, Tulane volleyball (11-6, 3-2) knocked off conference foe USF (11-6, 2-3) in a 3-1 match victory. With the win, Tulane spoiled the Bulls' 7-0 record at home and earned its second straight conference win of the season.
QUOTE
"The win feels great because we wanted to put a streak together. We talked about winning two road matches this weekend after splitting the first two weeks, and this was a good win to start this road trip. The team played really well defensively, and Sarah Ray played a tremendous match to put it away. We've talked about problem solving and sticking together as a team to be positive through adversity, and the girls have done a great job with that."
--Head coach Jim Barnes
