QUOTE
"This win goes all to the ladies. They put the pieces together and played like a true team, overcoming every obstacle. I'm immensely proud of the way they competed and didn't have any excuses about the weather or our change of plans. We talked about sweeping all week because we know we're capable, and that showed up today. We've had a different lineup every match, but we've had some very consistent play and I'm proud of that."

HOW IT WAS WON
The Green Wave notched the first point of the day and would continue to dominate for the remainder of the match, going on an early seven-point run to put the Knights in a hole. Tulane would take the first set 25-21, carrying the momentum into the second frame. Both squads played neck-and-neck to start off the second set, but Tulane put away two five-point runs to take a convincing set-two lead. The Knights would make a late push, coming within four points of the lead before the Green Wave put the second set away on a score of 25-21.
UCF played much closer to the Green Wave in set three, taking an early lead after trailing 3-0, but Tulane would quickly bounce back to put the game in the bag, sealing a set-three victory and match sweep on a 25-19 clip to close out the road trip.
Junior right side Sarah Ray led Tulane in kills for the third straight match with 15, while senior outside hitter Tea Juric notched ten kills to tie with sophomore middle hitter Dayna Kern. Tulane outhit its opponent for the third straight game, while freshman libero Kaylie McHugh led the defense with 19 digs.
