- The Tulane University baseball team (6-1) returns to action Tuesday for the start of a five-game week, including two mid-week games and a three-game weekend series.Â
- The Green Wave will finish out their five-game road trip at Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday before returning home Wednesday to face Texas Southern.
- The Green Wave is coming off a 13-5 win at No. 15 Louisiana Tech in their first road series of the season.
- The first pitch on Tuesday is set for 6:00 p.m, while the first pitch on Wednesday is set for 6:30 p.m.
- Both games will be aired live on ESPN + and can be heard on the Varsity Network App. Games one and three also can be heard on the radio by tuning into WRBH 88.3 FM.
- Tulane enters its matchup with Southeastern on a two-game winning streak.Â
- The Green Wave currently own's the American Athletic Conference's most runs scored (52). Defensively, Tulane owns the best fielding percentage (988).Â

- Tyrese Clayborne and Jeremy Almaguer have led the Tiger's offense through nine games. Clayborne hitting .455 with three multi-hit games and five RBI. Almaguer opened the season with an eight-game hit streak, a six-game run scored streak and six-game RBI streak.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Tulane University baseball team opened up an early lead and never looked back, as it held on for a 13-5 win over in-state rival Louisiana Tech in the weekend tiebreaker game on Sunday in Ruston.
- The Green Wave plated four runs in the second and eight in the third opening up a convincing 12-0 lead. All 11 of the 12 Green Wave's runs came with at least one out and eight came with two outs in the inning.
- The Bulldogs would not go quietly, as they fought back with three runs in the fifth and two in the sixth to trim Tulane's lead, but couldn't dig out of the hole.
- In the ninth, Tulane would bring in Grant Siegel who would put away the final three outs with a line out and a fielder's choice double-play.
- Tulane's bats stayed hot through last week, outscoring 25-17 in four games
- Five Green Wave hitters had three or more hits in the series as they recorded a .313 average as a group. Ethan Groff led the pack, going six-for-twelve with four RBIs on the weekend. Aviles' performance earned him the AAC's Player of the Week.
- Earlier this fall, Travis Jewett announced the addition of 21 members of the 2021 recruiting class.Â
- The 2021 class marks the sixth under Jewett.
- Joining the Green Wave for the 2021 season will be: Landry Alligood, Teo Banks, Kyle Beaty, Seth Beckstead, Dylan Carmouche, Adam Ebling, Brady Hebert, Cam Van Hoorebeke, Brennan Lambert, Jackson Linn, Brady Marget, Michael Massey, Tracy Mitchem, Brayden Morrow, Carter Robinson, Cristian Sanchez, Gavin Schulz, Grant Siegel, Ben Tate, Jonah Wachter and Chandler Welch.
- Thirteen members of the 2021 class are true freshman.
- Five members come to Tulane by way of junior college.
- Three members come by way of D1 institutions. Including transfer Dylan Carmouche, who was a member of the reigning national champions Mississippi State.
