NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Baseball will host LSU, the nation's top-ranked program, Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT on Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
The Green Wave comes into the game at 9-23 overall, while the Tigers are 26-5.

A parking note for those heading to the ballpark Tuesday … the Ursuline Lot (2635 State Street in New Orleans) will also be made available for $8 per vehicle (card only). It will open at 3 p.m. Parking is available for purchase here.

Gates will open at Turchin at 4:30 p.m.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Dylan Crews tops the team with a .510 batting average and also leads the program in OPS (1.528), runs (53), hits (52), doubles (11), total bases (90), slugging percentage (.882), walks (32) and on-base percentage (.645). Crews' batting average, on-base percentage and runs scored totals are the nation's top individual mark, while the slugging percentage figure sits fourth.

Tre' Morgan paces the squad with three triples, while Tommy White's 11 home runs and 51 RBI (second-best nationally) are also a team-high. On the mound, the team sports a 3.94 ERA and has yielded just a .199 batting average against thus far this season. The Tigers' seven shutouts in 2023 are also the nation's top mark.

LSU split two games at #6 South Carolina last weekend, falling 13-6 in the opener before coming back with an 8-7 win the second game. Weather canceled the rubber match.

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE GREEN WAVE
USF starting pitcher Jack Cebert allowed visiting Tulane just one run over seven innings to power the host Bulls to a 5-3 win Saturday afternoon in Tampa.

Cebert (2-1) threw 80 pitches and surrendered just four hits and two walks, while striking out seven. Riley Skeen recorded his fifth save, pitching the eighth and ninth innings, giving up one run on one hit with two strikeouts.Â

Green Wave starter Ricky Castro (2-4) took the loss, allowing three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and one walk in four and one-third innings.

USF stortshop Eric Snow went 3-for-3 at the dish with three runs, two RBI and two walks. Designated hitter Rafael Betancourt also posted three hits for the home team.

For Tulane, first baseman Brady Marget and right fielder Brady Hebert had two hits apiece.
