TULANE GAME NOTES
WICHITA, KS – The Tulane baseball team will play its second road American Athletic Conference series in as many weekends when it takes on Wichita State for games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The first pitch on Friday will be at 6 p.m. CT, while Saturday's will begin at 2 and Sunday's series finale is set for 1 p.m.

The Green Wave (22-19, 7-8 AAC) is coming off an 11-6 home loss to Southern Miss on Tuesday.
Â
Wichita State (21-21, 7-8) dropped a 3-1 decision at #18 Oklahoma on Tuesday.
Â
All three games this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+.

Voice of the Green Wave Corey Gloor will also have the call on the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield. The games will air on 88.3 FM WRBH, along with the Tulane Athletics and Varsity Network apps. Airtime for all the games is 15 minutes before first pitch.

Friday's pitching matchup will pit WSU LHP Tyler Dobbs (5-3, 3.57 ERA) against Tulane LHP Luc Fladda (1-3. 4.56 ERA). Saturday's starters will be WSU LHP Caden Favors (5-4, 3.86 ERA) and Tulane RHP Chandler Welch (5-1, 4.70 ERA). On Sunday, the Owls will send RHP Tommy LaPour (3-1, 4.20 ERA) to the hill against a Green Wave pitcher that has yet to be determined.

Wichita State's Dayvin Johnson leads the team with a .319 batting average, 37 runs scored, 14 doubles, 83 total bases, 23 walks and six stolen bases. Camden Johnson has also swiped six bases this season and leads the way with 53 hits. Jordan Rogers has also scored 37 runs and sports an on-base percentage of .424. Derek Williams paces the team in OPS (1.038), home runs (10) and slugging percentage (.617). Seth Stroh is the team's leader (32) in RBI.

Tulane first baseman Brady Marget leads the team in batting average (.333), OPS (.939), hits (54), RBI (35), total bases (81), walks (28) and on-base percentage (.439). Catcher Colin Tuft has scored 44 runs and stolen nine bases. The triumvirate of second baseman Connor Rasmussen, third baseman Gavin Schulz and center fielder Teo Banks all have 10 doubles this season and left fielder Jackson Linn has registered three triples with a slugging percentage of .543. Banks (10) is the team's top home run hitter.Â
