NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's basketball team returns home to face Temple on Saturday at 3 p.m. inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

The Green Wave enters the game at 15-8 overall and 8-4 in the American Athletic Conference, while Temple comes in at 14-10 and 8-5 in the league.

The two teams met on January 25 in Philadelphia with the Green Wave emerging with a 62-60 victory.

Saturday will be the program's annual Play4Kay game. The featured halftime performance will be a basketball game featuring mascots from around the city of New Orleans.

The host North Texas women's basketball team made each of its first six 3-point attempts and kept visiting Tulane at bay down the stretch to secure a wire-to-wire 69-64 American Athletic Conference victory Sunday afternoon at The Super Pit in Denton.

The home team was led by Desiree Wooten's 16 points. Ereauna Hardaway added 15, while Tommisha Lampkin and Chaina Price tacked on 11 and 10, respectively. Aniyah Johnson led the way in rebounding with 10.

WHITTINGTON GETS TO 1500:Â With 10 points in the win over Wichita State, Kyren Whittington landed right on 1,500 career points. She has 1,125 at Tulane and registered 450 during her freshman season at ULM in 2021-22.

FTS AND FOULS:Â Tulane has made as many or more free throws than the opposition in 16 games this season and has fouled as many or fewer times than its opponents on that same number of occasions (including nine of the last 10 games).Â

KEENAN:Â Victoria Keenan paces the league (and is third nationally) with a 47.4 percent clip from the perimeter. She is also 15th in the country with 2.78 3-pointers per contest and 23rd with 64 total triples on the year.
