
Women’s Basketball Hosts UTSA for Final Home Game

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane Women's Basketball is ready to host its last home game of the 2025 season, a match up versus the University of Texas San Antonio. The Roadrunners will visit Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse to take on the Wave for the first time this season on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. Â
Tulane is 16-10 for the season and 9-6 in conference play following a 68-64 home win over Wichita on Saturday, Feb. 22. The Green Wave is placed fifth in current conference rankings, behind Temple and ahead of Tulsa
Last Time Out
Tulane last faced UTSA in Feb. 2024, defeating them 75-64. The Wave will look to start a win streak against the Roadrunners on Tuesday.  Â
2/22 Vs. Wichita State
Kendall Sneed's performance against Wichita and Tulsa led to her sixth reception of AAC Freshman of the Week. She averaged 4.5 points, 4.5 assists and 8 points over the two games while picking up 4 steals against Wichita. Â
Sherese Pittman picked up 17 points over the Shockers, while also claiming 16 rebounds. Victoria Keenan and Kyren Whittington put up 16 and 12 points, while Sneed grabbed 11 rebounds.Â
Scouting UTSA
UTSA leads the AAC, having picked up 14 conference wins, and is 23-3 overall. They come to New Orleans from another road game, a 57-55 road win over Rice. Â
UTSA also leads the AAC in multiple statistical categories and is home to Jordyn Jenkins, who is first in points scored and averaged for the American with 463 and 18.5.  Â
UTSA's Nina De Leon Negron is second in the AAC for average assists with 5.2. UTSA also has two players in the top 15 for rebounds, Jenkins and Udo Idara.Â
Quick Hits
Tulane has four players ranked in the conference's top 25 scorers – the most of any AAC school. Tulane is also the only AAC university with three in the top 20.Â
Pittman is in the conference's top 10 scorers, holding spot number eight after averaging 13.9 points a game. Kyren Whittington ranks 15th, Amira Mabry 17th, and Kendall Sneed 25th.
Tulane also has three players ranked in the AAC for rebounds, with Pittman, Amira Mabry, and Dyllan Hanna sitting at 10, 12th, and 15th.Â
Keenan is 20th in the NCAA for 3-pt. percentage at 44.16, and is the sole AAC player to place in the top 30. She is 37th in the NCAA for 3-pointers made at 68. Keenan also heads into the Tuesday evening game with 99 career steals.Â
